Who we are UT is a gaming community created for the purpose of housing like-minded, hardcore gamers who have one goal in mind: to be the best. Second place is the same as last place. Who really wants to be in a guild that is second? We keep a balance between achieving our goals and having fun. We have an atmosphere where laughs and jokes are important. Humor is something we expect from our members just as much as being exceptional players. Having this type of atmosphere also allows for tight knit camaraderie and trust between members.
Being Hardcore has many different definitions. We define it as expecting a high level of activity, performance, and competitiveness among our members. We strive to become the most dominate guild on our server and aim to compete with top guilds on other servers. As we are a hardcore guild, we have very high standards and we accept only the best into our community. We take pride in our past achievements and plan to bring our success to Star Wars: The Old Republic.
We focus primarily on the PvP and PvE aspects of the games we participate in. To be the best we dominate them completely. This includes clearing content before others, capturing objectives before others, and killing anyone that gets in our way.
Why are we ambitious and confident in accomplishing our goals? Two reasons: our mentality and standards.
Mentality and Standards We believe in quality over quantity. We want individuals in our community that have what it takes to be successful. We desire motivated, dedicated and exceptionally skilled gamers. Skill is more important to us then numbers. Our requirements and extensive recruitment process allow us to recruit the players we want to join our community, therefore allowing us to accomplish what we want in game.
We are an exclusive and premier gaming community. Simply put, we want only the best gamers to be a part of Umbra Tutela in order to help the guild grow and develop into the successful community we desire. Without this mentality and these standards, we would not be able to achieve our goals. We are not just a guild who participates in one game and then disbands. We are a tight knit group who seeks to have an impact on the community of each game we become involved in.
Requirements -Maturity is a requirement. Have tough skin and be able to take a joke. Our vent and forums are not PG 13. -Have vent and a working mic. -Have a good PvP/PvE background in other games and MMOs. -Devote a high level of activity, on the forums, vent, and be able to attend our scheduled events. -After pre-order incentives are released, beta keys/early access, all current members and future initiates MUST have them. Being in early access and beta is a strict requirement.
